WIYSA's WEB SITE

Check out what's happening and what the association is up to supporting soccer on Whidbey Island.  We have a lot going on and are always looking for ways to improve our service to the community and more importantly the kids.  That's why we exist isn't it?

Please scroll through our site and if anything interests you or you need more information click on the underlined links or the images as appropriate.  These links will connect you to additional information on the subject.

If you still need help see our contacts under Administration.  Let us know what your needs are and where we can help.  Also if you are interested in volunteering with any of the clubs or association.  Give us a shout - we can always use the help.

Thanks and check back often

What's Going On?

Rock-On 3v3 Tournament - Our annual Memorial weekend Rock On 3v3 tournament that was such a success last year is in the planning stages for this coming year.

Tekk Sponsorship - WIYSA BOD has approved sponsorship with TEKK.  What this means is that the association will purchase 1 set of 5x8 goals each of the next 3 years and TEKK will provide another 15 goals over the 3 years - FREE!  These goals will be passed on to the clubs.  Just another way that your WIYSA fees will be working for you!

Tony Waiters Byte Size Coaching -  District 1 and Associations have funded a new year of service to this great program!! This is a very comprehensive and useful tool for our coaches!  New coaches are able to learn and grow along with the players by using Tony's proven system which emphasizes in the early years, individual skill development and provides progression into the more complex applications of the game.  To access this program please contact your club representative or WIYSA.

Ice Breaker Recreational Tournament  -- November 15-16 for ages U8 through U18, hosted by North Whidbey Soccer Club.  More info on the State web site or contact NWSC.
